ot-ing in progress

goodness me .. no one said it was easy working.
life is really tough ..

had some problematic cases today which totally ruined my day as usual ..
1) lady used cc points to claim ev but bank give her old ev code .. then fares the past 2 days were 202 and she couldn't use ev code .. called our scc for help but the lady just ask her to retry and eventually scc closed for the day so she cldn't get thru till today since ytd was a PH ..

i only got the email today with regards to the ev issued on 30th .. suppose to call up and inform them abt the new ev code so they could use .. but when i called her back .. she wanted me to secure the fare at 202 .. but the fares went up to 267 .. so she made a huge fuss abt it .. like what am i suppose to do man ..

sighs .. escalated to my mgr asking if could absorb difference and she approved .. so guided her to make payments and send details to me so i could refund her .. anyway she thought my name was "elicia" and said it was unique and nice .. was randomly chatting with her while she processed her booking and she was surprised and impressed that i just started working at Z only 1 wk ago and i had to handle her case .. so she asked if we had any feedback form or anything so she could write ..

the ending is good la but the process really sucked.

2) lady emailed abt a flight to hk for friend but no flights on the days her friend wanted on LX so i emailed her back on monday but it got into her spam and she was so desperate she emailed this morning demanding for a reply .. i quoted her the previous email but dunno why like cannot receive or sth .. in the end she shoot back another fierce email saying she called us alot of times but cannot get thru + she went to scc to ask us return call ..

in the end i return call lor .. then she revert me to another person who was the one travelling .. and managed to settle everything eventually .. she was quite embarassed when she found the email i sent in the spam and went to complain to her ISP.

3) so many bookings came in la .. i stayed till 7 to clear them .. leaving 1 cuz it was a 2009 booking and i was too lazy to read the JL t&cs .. so i'm gonna do it tmr .. + gonna call pple to chase AGAIN. and i have to call those pple who redeemed the ev ..

such a busy time la .. sighs ..
might have to go back to chai chee 1 or 2 days soon cuz mentor not free to come down and guide me on ev .. i'm not really clear abt the process also .. yea .. so far so good.

the only thing i'm glad abt the job is the sense of satisfaction after 1 successful booking is done + bonus if the person even bother to send a email saying thanks. it's like how Jesus healed the 10 lepers but only 1 came back to thank Him .. it's not like saying thank u is so hard .. u just need to open ur mouth and say ..

oh wells .. enough of rants i'm going to sleep now ..
