hic .. hic .. hiccups.

i had been hiccuping for quite long and finally it's GONE.
thanks to dad's suggestion of drink HOT water ..

anyway it had been such a long day today .. i ended up falling asleep at 1.30 and waking up at almost 7 .. chiong all the way .. and had a bad start today too .. my first pair of shoes didnt match what i was wearing + the soles almost came off .. so when we reached the interchange .. i got fed up and told my parents i was going home to change a pair of shoes and told them to leave first ..

some how amanda called me just as i was leaving house and said that they were in the bus alr .. so i RAN all the way to the next bus stop to catch it .. and jay-ran across .. luckily made it just in time cuz of the traffic light .. phews .. anyway we were early la .. reached arnd 8.20 ..

after service went up to mini creche and we had alot of kids today!! .. 16 .. luckily not alot of them cry .. at arnd 12.30 cleared up the whole place and went down to look for dad .. suppose to go for the teacher's day lunch .. but in the end mum "represented" us .. she actually didnt wanna go but just happen that aunty cindy "caught" her there .. so dad, amanda and me headed to have our lunch .. went to pick alethea at 1 (she ended earlier by 15 mins) got brochure for jason too cuz his son's chinese quite bad .. haha

we went to the wanton mee place beside molin .. dad ordered and his queue no. was 70 .. after 15 mins of waiting we gave up cuz it was only 66 .. luckily alethea had a big chicken pau and amanda had 2 char siew pau .. by then dearest was pretty pissed that we havent' made our way down to meet him yet cuz he ended class at 1 and was at shenton way bus stop waiting for us .. so dad bought himself a big chicken pau while i requested for 1 charsiew + 1 big chicken pau so i could give dearest as he didnt eat too ..

walked out and saw a cab and took it down .. dearest was really pissed when he heard we were in the cab =x .. went to pick him up and headed to hortpark .. it's a very nice place!! .. luckily by then he was less pissed and we went over to look for aunty janet to tell her that we had to leave arnd 3.30 latest ..

found out that he was suppose to be a contestant for mr macho game .. there were 6 contestants in all and each contestant had 5 helpers/volunteers that had to blow up 10 balloons and stuff into the shirt to make the contestant look macho .. the macho contestant with the loudest claps from the audience wins ..



i went to look for uncle anthony to help me out and he did (:
teeheehee .. got another 3 more volunteers in my team too .. they were really great! .. and they transformed dearest to mr cool macho!!
there was a damn enthu aunty who came up and lent him her shades .. whOOoos .. he did a few macho poses too and the crowd went "wild" ..

btw .. sani don't drool ah! i know he looks "hot" there. LOL

in the end they couldn't decide the winner although i really heard quite loud applause for dearest .. i really couldn't stop laughing la .. it was darn hilarious .. =x .. each contestant got a gift and their walk started after that game .. we took a few snapshots before leaving the place cuz dearest was rushing over to lily's daughter's 4th bday + her cousin's daughter's 1st bday party where some of the ex & present abacus staff were alr there with their families and kept chasing him to quickly reach as they were leaving soon ..

i really like the hortpark! .. jeanie and calvin from our lg were super random la .. they saw me and him taking pic along the spiral stairs and were like saying that we shld have our wedding there =.=" .. they supported him and gave him high 5 on their way up .. BOO. anyway we took a pic tgther with iris on some cool resting thingy .. jeanie was making herself real comfy there .. haha ..

our last shot was at the swing before we went out to flag a cab to palm gardens which was just OPPOSITE emy's place .. but sadly she wasn't home. ):

we reached palm gardens arnd 3.30 and were just in time for the cake cutting session! ..

i think lily's 4 yr old daughter - pearlyn is cute! .. haha .. was "entertaining" myself while dearest "entertained" others .. we left arnd 4.30 and headed to dearest's place for dinner ..

shopped at causeway pt's cold storage for ingredients before taking bus down ..

was watching tv and chatting online while dearest prepared dinner .. super yummyy!! (:

korean noodles for alethea .. well done steak with mushroom sauce + small potatoes + brocolli + mini corn + mini carrot + both chicken thighs and a wing from the ready cooked whole black pepper chicken that we bought from cold storage .. super FULL after that =x

dearest's bro came back arnd 8+ .. my first time meeting him but didnt get to talk or anything .. he seems quite dao =x ..

me and alethea cabbed back at 9 in a merc cab and fell asleep on the way .. super tired ..

anyway the past 2 days had been ok .. great company (:
although ytd started off really bad .. but it really ended well!
it was my LAST DAY of work at the green shop ..
tsktsk. i dont like that place and i'll nv work there again although i get to watch free cartoons!

i rushed down to kallang leisure park after work to meet sani, jason, william, desmond, adrian & derline who were alr there playing bowling .. took bus and alighted opposite suntec but 16 was darn crowded and thank God a cab happened to passby .. but damn the peak hr surcharge + stupid uncle .. he went the longer way and i ended up paying $10.70 from opposite suntec - kallang leisure park (it was only 3 stops away if i took bus and cost 0.67 cents) tsktsktsk. ):

reached just in time cuz they had the last 2 rounds .. then headed to pastamania for dinner .. had a great laugh looking at them order their food .. then adrian's gf - sheena came .. nice girl (: they got the "couple" look!! .. haha .. anyway sani spotted "fireworks" from where we were sitting .. it was darn hilarious cuz they were coming from the construction worker who was soldering .. super funny =x

jason left earlier to pick his pr 1 son - wynn .. then we all headed down to four seasons durian cafe along still road .. desmond headed back first cuz it was out of the way as he stayed at woodlands rather near dearest's place .. we all took 16 down to parkway and waited for 16/966 at the bus stop in front of church ..

jason called and told us he was at geylang lor 37 cuz he told the uncle that he wanted to go to four seasons hotel and the uncle presumed it was around geylang and told him to alight afew stops ltr after he got up from kallang mrt .. couldn't stop laughing when i heard that cuz the hotel was arnd town and that sleasy area got no such hotel too .. poor jason got cheated by that uncle .. but luckily he agar agar know where we were ..

alighted 4 stops ltr and walked alil .. afew mins ltr jason and his son arrived .. ordered 4 durians which sani treated .. thanks alot sani!! (: hehe .. all of us dug in except wynn cuz he was busy playing ds lite which sheena lent him .. haha .. had 2 durians and gave up .. throat was feeling dry .. waited for dearest to reach .. they left him quite ALOT of durians la .. =.+" .. sat and chit chatted and camwhored with sani's camera! .. ahha .. will upload pics when he sends it to me ..

left the place arnd 11.30 .. cabbed back with dearest cuz he was staying over and gave william a lift .. wah his place is so FAR away and he almost walked back la! .. derline, sani, jason & wynn shared a cab back too .. they "stole" our cabb! .. haha we were actually "aiming" to capture that cab's attention cuz it was turning .. but in the end they ran across and took it .. but no worries cuz we got another one not long ltr .. adrian & sheena also cabbed and their cab was behind ours ..

got back and washed up before crapping awhile and fell asleep arnd 2+ ..

dearest came into my room at 9+ with all his barang .. then somehow he made his way to my bed and we ended up sleeping till 12+ .. dearest jumped up cuz he wanted to go to his sch library to borrow books for his essay and he got class at 2 .. we had macs for brunch and off he went to school at 1 ..

i left house at 2.30 although my facial appt at 3 .. luckily in the end she was only available after 3.30 and i reached arnd 3.20 .. so i sat there reading my book while waiting .. was done by 4.30 and headed over to comex to look for vy .. omg stuck outside fox la .. the crowd was terrible!!! .. after meeting up with her .. we went in search for an empty toilet .. in the end we walked all the way to marina sq .. rested for awhile there before heading back ..

went to kachao hong boon and met daryl there! .. daryl's the guy who was at the same place as i was ytd cuz he was suppose to sell accessories for c20 at that green place .. super funny .. we were just talking and talking till vy said she could go for dinner alr .. we dangerously jayed over to marina sq subway and dearest came to join us after class ..

after dinner went back to comex and went to get dearest's ext hdd cover .. other than that i gave up walking arnd and went back dwn to chat with vy for awhile .. she was promoting the n96 which had been newly launched and available for preorder .. dearest called sani to ask if he wanted it cuz can get $100 off that phone if preorder .. so wld be arnd $600+ w/out contract and approx $300+ with contract ..

we headed down to sun paradise and dearest bought a board shorts + swimming trunk for batam trip .. walked towards fountain of wealth and bought a medium peach yami yougurt with cashew topping .. went to kachao my "twin" but he was so emo .. i left half my yougurt with dearest and i expected to have alil bit left .. in the end when i came back the cup was EMPTY ): .. *whinesss* .. he ate all my yougurt on the pretext that it was MELTING .. but the cashew dont melt and they were all GONE too!! .. luckily he went to buy a new cup for me =x

vy called to say that she left her slippers in our bag so we had to head back and pass it to her before heading back .. took bus to harbour and train all the way home ..

that's all that happened over the past 2 days ..
tmr will be a LONNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG day ..
will be going to church then bring alethea to meet dearest and off we go for the hortpark event that is organised by 2nd service and aunty janet + uncle julian + our lg pple helping out .. so we go support them (: .. then would be chionging dwn to cck for lily's daughter's 4th yr old bday + another ex abacus staff who's lily's cousin's baby's 1 yr ..

i'm really glad it's the last day of standing 8 hrs tmr .. although no more looney toons, tom & jerry and ppg to watch .. i really feel like subscribing to cartoon network on cable to watch them ..

it has been 2 days and i've been standing for 8 hrs continuously everyday ..

anyway the past 2 days had been quite smooth sailing .. not much troublesome pple and the place is considered "quiet" alr .. i had to learn abt the value-added services and promote them .. but eventually i'm like checking hp prices and promoting the voice plans and blueberry blackberry. hahaha ..

it's cute how pple will come up and ask questions related to blackberry blueberry .. but it's ok la .. i also made the same mistake when enquiring raymond (the guy who's working with me) ..

not much pictures of my work this time .. but i'm really really tired .. my feet are crying out loud for rest! .. now when i walk i would either "glide" or tiptoe cuz the heels are damn damn damn painful ): ..

dearest had resigned from abacus .. and i dont know whether to be happy or sad for him .. but whatever it is .. hope that he's happy and wont regret his decision can alr .. it's gonna be a tough time initially .. but i believe he can pull thru and eventually make it big and do whatever he wants (: .. because i look forward to having a good life with him too!!

mooncake delivery!

i'm sooooo tired ... went arnd afew places today and tmr i'm working again for 4 dayss at uob centre the "green" shop opposite body shop .. hopefully it's not that bad like last wk giving out flyers for so long .. anyway the working hrs if from 10.30 - 7.30 .. pls do come find me!

met vy at 10.30 .. i actually got up at 9.30 when my alarm rang at 9 .. then rush arnd before leaving hse to meet her cuz she was actually early for work .. but cuz of waiting for me she became late =x .. took train to outram then city hall cuz i accompanied her ..

initially wanted to go settle my 8th mth present for dearest so went up to the pushcart but it was still close .. so went to deposit my money and headed over to collect the mooncakes that we ordered .. at the same time i bought a box of 4 baked peach-shaped mooncake with single yolk & macadamia nuts in white lotus paste for the abacus peeps ..

tried my luck at the pushcart again and i was really glad it was finally open (: .. took quite sometime to settle it cuz couldn't decide what design and which picture .. after that was quite late to meet dearest for lunch .. the 5 boxes were damn HEAVY la .. my hands had the string marks ..

had lunch at bestway .. and went to deliver 1 box to gsa (jacqueline & yvonne) .. then dearest went to olympia while i headed for 2nd round with sani and gang (derline, adrian, desmond, joel, jason and steven koh) to tanjong pagar .. surprisingly catharine was there too! was talking to adrian abt UWA majors .. it was like OMG .. haha will be discussing it with vy next wk when we are free ..

then we all "dispersed" after that .. sani, derline, jason, desmond and me headed to ntuc .. sani was so generous he bought snacks for us! i chose a bar of toblerone cuz i know dearest likes them .. then i could share with him .. jason and desmond headed back while sani was paying for them ..

sani treated me and derline to ICECREAM!! .. omgg .. ahhaha
derline chose choco icecream in cone, while i got the ripple btw waffle biscuit and sani had a cup of mixed icecream .. my ripple waffle was damn damn big and i ended giving half to dearest when we went back to the office .. took pics on the way back! .. aha

went to collect the mooncakes from sani's fridge .. super funny when i opened it .. the first thing i saw was "yap lao bu's mooncake. don't eat" .. ahhaha .. sani wrote that cuz i called him while i was going for lunch telling him not to eat .. i scared he too hungry then thought for them and go eat it =x ..

headed back to city hall to collect the keychain and back to vivo to look for vy to pass her what she needed .. poor girl was damn sick la .. cramps + headache and was feeling faint .. ended up accompanying her back too .. bought 2 packets of seaweed & a box of white kitkat for dearest mum & dearest respectively .. came home and sorted out the mooncakes and prepared dearest's present ..

arnd 6 left house and headed over to woodlands .. went to buy breakfast at four seasons before taking bus over to his place .. his mum cooked dinner (: .. when we got there his mum was still watching korean drama on his pc .. haha damn funny .. gave her the box of mooncakes + seaweed .. she really got a flare for korean stuff sia .. even korean drama!

we waited for his sis to be back and had yummy dinner (:
after that was just sitting arnd watching tv .. his mum was saying that last time dearest very THIN one .. but now his tummy seems to have became FATTER with a lil baby in it .. HAHA .. x) .. anyway i think it's passed down from his dad .. cuz he got damn big stomach too la =x

rather smooth i must say .. met alot of pple again while giving out flyers .. haha

today's crowd was ALOT .. no thanks to fireworks fest on top of the usual sat crowd but still .. we gave out like 8 packs of flyers which consisted of approximately 500 flyers each from 11 - 8 .. HAHA that's like ALOT .. thanks to my "partner" hongboon, crazy guy jie hao and quiet tracy (florence's sis) ..

here are the people i met roughly in order of appearance ..
1) i met aaron (my ex-classmate who has a very scandalous story i heard from others) .. hahaha surprisingly he didn't mind when i thrusted a stack to him and he just took it .. haha ..

2) sarinah (from my orientation grp when was her SB in WWR) .. haha i was super happy when i saw her toooo so i gave her a stack (:

3) gillian (ex abacus hd staff) .. she was with her son & sister and i gave each one 1 piece .. surprisingly she rmbs me .. chatted with her for awhile .. when she left marina she was shocked to see me still giving out flyers . hahha .. =x

4) peilin .. she called me from the back and i was so happy i gave her a stack too!! =D

5) jiawei (again) ... haha he was like super excited to get more from me la .. but today we trying to save flyers for tmr so i only gave him 3 + his friend 1 .. cuz his friend help him take .. HAHA

6) jacob & his gf .. super funny .. i didnt even see him cuz i didnt recognise him with his nerdy specs that he made for NS .. then we were talking for quite awhile and i gave him a stack too! x)

7) huijing .. i was trying to finish my last few pieces when she suddenly walk in front of me so i called her name and gave her my 3rd last piece (:

tmr is my last day at work and another PAY DAY!! (:
really looking forward to it .. hehe ..

we (me and amanda) just called jacob yeo at 1200 sharp to wish him HAPPY BIRTHDAY .. and chatted/crapped for like 17 mins before hanging up la .. super super funny convo .. he was shocked that we actually called to wish him .. haha .. alethea was suppose to join us too .. but she fell asleep alr .. will get amelia and alethea to prepare his "bday bash" tmr when they see him in church x)

anyway .. i have a bet with amanda which is totally 100% advantageous for me .. haha super dumb bet .. but it's ok .. cuz the stupid girl agreed to it because she wanna study for her upcoming prelims .. she's gonna wake up at 4am to study .. then if she does that she need not go church on the pretext that she's busy studying. currently she owes me sgd $50 for my aunt's present and have yet to return me ..

so the bet goes like that ..
if she successfully wakes up at 4am to study ... she'll just have to return my sgd$50 .. otherwise if she unsuccessfully does not wake up at 4am to study she'll return me double .. that means sgd$100. hahaha .. dearest and my dad were the witness when she said that .. i'm really tempted to go tamper her alarm. LOL. but until now she's still awake .. so i think she'll not be able to wake up that early la .. haha

anyway it's 1230 alr and i'm gonna go sleep cuz i'm working tmr.. not going church for this week..

visitor's day! (:

it's the 2nd day at work and i am posted to the bus stop just outside suntec convention centre but eventually because of the rain we went up to the link bridge btw suntec and ms ..




tadaa my first 2 visitors of the day!! (: super funny guys that were at the CTC roadshow at suntec from 6.30am today setting up stuff and were on their way back when they decided to check the roadshow out and visit me ..

*drumrollsss* jason & sani (ssk warrior!) haha .. jason is camera shy so i couldn't capture any of his face properly =x




anyway they were the pple that i gave my first 2 flyers too!! what a great way to start the day .. (: sani wanted to treat me starbucks but i couldn't accept it cuz i was workinggg and couldn't walk arnd ): .. oh wells nvm .. next time!!


they were waiting for 97 for damn long and got rather pek cek so they went over to the other bus stop .. and within few mins their bus came .. sani was HOPPING MAD when i msged him .. haha he blamed it on jason's presence .. but during that long wait they were entertaining me .. had a great laugh there ..

not long ltr .. i saw zung en alighting from another double decked 97 .. haha gave him a flyer too! (: then darling huifen alighted from 36 .. we both were damn shocked to see each other! .. and i gave her a flyer too .. (:

i saw zhisin (ex-abacus staff) too but i didnt give him a flyer cuz he walked away too fast =x


was talking to an old man who's 83 and seemingly seems perfectly fit for his age cuz he was walking arnd + speaking fluent english .. really nice time talking to him .. found out that he was waiting for his wife who's late (suppose to meet at 12.30 but she called to say 1 instead but eventually reached at 1.10) .. haha typical women =x ..

he initially asked abt the tv digital cable .. but somehow he got it confused with mio .. so we were as confused as him and told him to check out the roadshow for more professional help .. haha .. after that talked everything under the sun .. from his health which wasn't 100% that good .. till his granddaughter who's studying on scholarship in aussie .. to him learning basic chinese as CC every week .. to him staying at farrer rd and walking to botanic garden once every week .. to he and his wife blissfully tgther for 50+ yrs and almost touring every part of the world! .. really admire them for that ..

but i was really sad when he said something along the line that the only thing sad abt them is that if he left this world earlier than her .. she'll be lonely and if she left this world earlier than him .. he'll be lonely .. cuz they had been soulmates tgther for so long .. doing things tgther like travelling and even lunching/shopping .. sighs .. i really dont wanna imagine myself being like them next time .. it is really heart wrenching and i cry everytime i think abt it .. ):

2) i've got an interview tmr for the position of events consultant at 9.30am!!

4) i have to collect my magazines from dearest cuz i left it in his bag and forgot to take it out just now and he's complaining that he wanna throw it away ... ):

pay dayy!!

yays .. my bank just got more money after today's pay day!
it's my last day at stamford too .. i've finished a total of 1100 profiles in all after 6 days ..

peter was really nice to give me an additional hr of pay and before i left gina talked to me .. she's rather nice after all .. was saying that if i'm interested in the travel trade do give her a call .. hehe .. i left the office at 5.30 and walked all the way back to abacus ..

met jasmine outside office .. haha she was really cute .. she was like saying she thought she saw me from far .. but not sure whether it's me .. then as i came nearer she was like oh it's really alicia .. haha .. chatted for awhile then i went to the back door .. was waiting for dearest to let me in .. then met cat outside too .. she was carrying flowers back to office .. chatted with her for awhile too before going into tech room ..

sani and jason were was listening to TECHNO .. wah damn daring sia .. blasting it although his boss was just outside .. haha .. was hanging arnd for awhile and said hi to candy before leaving .. we walked over to uob centre to collect the voucher at si chuan dou hua restaurant .. but when we got there the lady told us that we could just use it like that .. so we made a wasted trip ..

made our way down to shaw tower for dinner .. brought him to creation (the place where we celebrated yg's bday) and treated him dinner cuz i got my pay .. that guy is really tsk tsk .. dunno whether to laugh or to cry with him .. =x after dinner we walked to raffles city and went up to 70th storey city space to make orders for mooncake (1 box for my mum from him, 1 box for his mum from me, 1 box for an agt from him and another box for another agt from the both of us) .. super nice place i must say ..

dearest brought me to the toilet cuz he said that it's the NICEST toilet .. i think it's like a palace .. very nice deco .. BUT .. i saw a baby cockroachhh!! .. =x .. it spoilt the whole pretty atmosphere there .. tsktsk .. we met alot of his friends there cuz they were his ex colleagues .. he used to work there last time .. we went down to the mooncake booth and sampled afew flavours .. it's really yummy like ice cream .. didn't regret ordering them (:

made our way to deposit my $$ into the bank and took train to PS to meet vy .. she ended work at 9 so by the time we reached dhoby it was only 8.40 .. sat and waited for her at the starhub shop while dearest was playing arnd with the phones with qwerty keypads .. he likes the nokia E71 and is still thinking that it's the nicest .. oh wells .. such rigid mind .. haha

i saw pretty shoes at c&k!! .. quite tempted to buy them .. shall see how again .. if i pass by once more i would get them! .. (and dearest is gonna nag at me again) .. haha .. i'm running out of shoes ok it's a lie .. my mum bought 11 pairs from genting but only 2 pairs are mine .. but i got no more elegant shoes ):

i can't believe i went to the GYM today for the FIRST time in my life!
and i'm ACHING all over now ):

neck pain due to work .. i finish typing banyan. omg .. 200++ profiles cuz corp + leisure .. my eyes were jumping out of it's sockets ... i have another 2 more BIG companies to conquer .. itochi and swiss rec .. =x other than that the rest are minor companies .. i guess shld be able to finish it by friday cuz that's my target! .. CHIONG AH.

now my arms are hurting cuz i "rowed" the gym machine .. goodness me .. just a damn machine made me in such pain ): .. then i RAN walked like a hamster on the threadmill for almost 20 mins .. arnd 1.5m .. vy was more powerful .. she ran 30 mins! .. =x

sighs .. now i'm suffering from neck, hand, leg and head pain .. i'm gonna sleep now ...
i know i'm damn unfit and i'm contemplating not to go for marathon so i would not need to suffer so much torture to my poor body .. =x

today had really been a day filled with activities till my feets are sore from all the walking .. ):
it didnt help when i was feeling so SNEEZY the whole day too! ..

think i'm falling sick again .. sighs .. such weak immune system since i had the bad cramps ..

anyway we just won twice of what we initially forked out .. not much .. but still something is better than nothing (:

went out to meet dora for dinner today at tampines mall since she was dining alone and wanted to get some stuff from there ..

we had pasta mania and walked arnd looking for card holder at popular and name card holder for her since she doesn't have a decent one for her work yet .. ended up finding a practical red one at BHG for only $15.90

we headed to pinc at century square and did our nails .. mine's neatly shaped and pink now .. haha ..

headed back arnd 9+ and met dearest at ya kun where he just finish his dinner after his hair cut .. it seriously looked weird cuz it made his head looks more like a winter melon (very oval like) and his fringe is still LONG .. i expected it to be shorter =x

we took 72 back and camwhored with my lil mirror .. i think i lost my skill of camwhoring alr ):

randomly .. i feel like eating my japanese fish now! ):
i found it at hougang mall during the food festival period and i only manage to eat it ONCE after 8379827398273987 years since yaohan @ parkway parade closed down ..

i still rmb those times when daddy would buy me a cheese filling japanese fish + a bottle of strawberry milkmaid milk after my piano class at the parkway yamaha ..
