a day full of meetups! ..
i almost didnt wake up early today cuz my hp batt went FLAT and my alarm didnt ring that's to the flat battery .. luckily i had stomachache and got up at 10.30 =x .. by then cand was alr looking for me but was unable to since 9 and dearest called to wake me up too .. haha .. spent arnd 45 mins talking to cand and she was complaining that she got a call from recruit express this morning which woke her up and she didnt dare go back to sleep since she had an interview with them at 5 and was afraid of oversleeping .. in the end she decided to go swimming to keep herself awake and she was catching the sun as well ..
anyway today i went to 3 places before finally heading homee ...
1) town - met up with the girlfriends from my sec sch clique ..
suppose to meet at 2.30, orchard mrt stn .. but in the end i was late, vt was late, vy was with her cousin and only huiis was early .. =x .. at arnd 3 i waited for vt at the mrt stn then we headed to wisma starbucks to meet huiis .. sat there for awhile before heading to swensens cuz vy was hungry and she wanted to eat there ..
vt and huiis had milkshake + fried mushrooms .. vy had her baked rice and i had topless 5 (: we just sat there crapping till almost 5 .. they cheated us of 51cents! .. it was fun catching up with them .. hopefully can meet next tues again .. this time with MORE pple!
2) clarke quay - met cand there and dearest came along ..
she was reading her papers while waiting for me at the tables in front of swissotel merchant court .. haha .. we headed over to liang court's kino to get her friend's bday gift - $50 kino vouchers reason being that her friend likes jap stuff .. dearest came just as we were done ..
that ms ang is so TROUBLESOME. she was like so fussy and picky and whatever not .. ask me to choose a wrapper for the gift which kino provided .. only had 3 designs and she had to ask me .. in the end she chose one which was like "antique" with cheena wordings and a pic of an old man (who is probably dead) .. haha .. and when the lady ask her to check if the vouchers were alright .. she went to arrange the vouchers in ascending order of the voucher no. =.=" had to wait for her to do it .. even the lady at the counter was "um chio-ing" and finally when the lady was packing the vouchers in the envelope + the gift wrapper she requested for it not to be sealed .. and said that she'll write stuff inside ltr since a bday card in her opinion was weird.
after that i went to meide-ya with dearest for awhile to check out kit kats .. cand went over to lunar to see if she could enter since her ex colleagues were working there but they didnt open till 7 so we headed over to see the vertical bungy thingy .. cand and dearest wanted to take but in the end they didnt cuz they kept insisting that i must go with them else they wldnt ): .. i'm scared to go up and down. i'll die instantly cuz i got a WEAK HEART. anyway we just sat there while ms ang checked her toto results cuz this wk's prize was 3m since the amt snowballed the past 2 wks .. so she was trying her luck .. haha in the end none of her numbers were predicted correctly .. she was super agitated cuz she spent 2 hrs last night analysing the toto numbers =x
at arnd 6.55 we decided to head over to lunar to see if it was open cuz the dark clouds were covering the sky very quickly with flashes of lightning .. her ex colleague - fiona came out and we waited for awhile more before entering .. cand's id was checked but i just went in like that (: .. ahhaha .. damn cool place .. we went on a tour arnd before her friends called to say that they were at tapaz tree waiting alr .. so headed over and met both her friends for awhile .. she actually wanted us to sit and wait while p came to pass me the clothes that we (me and emy) bought this morning ..
looking up at the dark dark sky .. decided that me and dearest would go over to central to walk arnd so that we could avoid the rain if possible and cand would come over with an umbrella that p has if needed so that she could pass me the clothes .. walked arnd the whole of 3rd floor and half of the 2nd floor before finally meeting her and p .. checked the clothes and went to gobi to get a box of mini macaroons for sampling to analyse what went wrong with mine =x
3) vivo - met up with emy to pass her purchase and dinner!
went to draw money to return emy cuz she paid for the clothes before heading to kfc where she just arrived and was waiting there .. after passing the clothes to her we headed to food republic for dinner .. shared a plate of hokkien mee since none of us were that hungry .. went to get a cup of berry crush at the booze juice store before walking arnd toys r us for awhile to see if we could find anything for ben as his bday is next wk ..
headed back after that .. got home at 10 on the dot.
