match making ..

just thinking abt the conversation i had with dinesh during lunch ..
have u ever wondered if our culture was one that have to go through matchmaking sessions/arranged marriages?

ur parents are the ones that decide that u are of marriagable age and sends ur profile to afew matchmaking agencies .. u only get to see her once before saying yes/no if u like the other party and if u say yes .. they'll arrange for your engagement .. and that's when u'll offically see her once more 1 or 2 wks before the engagement ..

quite sad ah .. that's what dinesh actually went through .. but luckily he knew his wife before that (: .. his bro-in-law just got engaged last mth and he only saw the girl 1 or 2 wks before the engagement .. and in fact they are not allowed to even talk to each other if they are not engaged .. >.< .. i really dont understand their culture ..

anyway poor aalia might have to be the only child bcuz dinesh's wife got phobia of getting pregnant alr .. ): she had such a bad bad bad experience during her pregnancy with aalia .. and now she don't dare to try for another one .. but i'm glad they're still open to adoption (: .. quite weird actually .. pple who can give birth dont want to give birth but those who can't want to give birth ..

sighs .. mummy's talking to me abt studying again .. i really have no idea what i wanna do now .. completely lost without any plans at the moment .. ): ..

i dun really know why am i on this earth for .. i dont like making decisions .. i'm fickled minded .. i wanna be a part time wedding/event planner ..
