casual labour

this morning is a quiet day .. no calls except at 12.01 .. OMG SK from stwot called ): .. wahh i wanna die sia .. was struggling to talk to her for like almost 40 mins .. finally hung up cuz she had to go for lunch and i'm handing back the case to it's original owner who's back today!

anyway left office with the girls (farah, filza & jo yeo) after that .. headed to ps for lunch at the food court .. then went to collect farah's gv card since we still got some time while jo went to get drinks at carrefour .. and off we went to fort canning lodge @ ywca ..

asked for directions at parkmall from the reception .. and was told to take lift to lvl 4 .. turn left at the carpark and cut thru till we see the exit .. and turn right again .. TADA we reached ywca just like that! ..

we were waiting at reception but a guy came to serve us instead .. he went to get the guy we were suppose to meet .. and i went to mount hebron to look arnd at the books .. yays i found one more book to my colour series by melody carlson =D ..

the guy came and he brought us up to the pool terrace where we will be holding our dnd .. and wow .. it's BIG .. rather nice place .. farah took pics there .. will upload them after i get it from her and if i have the time ..

hmms .. discussed for quite awhile and looked arnd the surroundings .. quite a nice place after all .. thanked the guy and told him we'll get back to him asap .. took bus down to conrad .. almost go lost cutting thru pan pacific .. jo suggested we take the lift up to the highest storey for the fun of it .. and we really took it! .. WOW .. cheap trial but fun la .. better than the flyer .. haha .. that one not really suitable for pple with fear of heights though .. cuz the lift is like a glass bullet till the 37th storey .. =x

found our way to conrad from there and we went to reception to ask for directions to the location which we were suppose to view thinking that the person i/c was gonna be there .. up we went to the 4th floor and walked afew steps to view the place .. BUT along came this security officer who questioned us what we were doing .. we tried to explain to her that we were looking for the lady who we had an appt with alr .. but she refuse to listen and assumed that we're just visitors so she made us take the staff lift down to the security post to change CASUAL LABOUR passes ..

on the way she tried to abandon us by asking a chef in the same lift to bring us to the security post but he was busy .. anyway in her walkie talkie she described our encounter with her as "i have 4 girls with me .. i followed them up to 4th floor and CATCH them .. bringing them down to change passes now" she kept emphasizing that it's a 5 star hotel blah blah blah .. like wth .. we were super fed up la ..

used our i/c to change for our passes and the other security guard ask if we knw where to find the lady .. in the end he called her and passed the phone to jo .. apparently the lady was shocked to find her guests (which is us) at the security post .. she came down and clarify matters for us .. so we returned our passes on the spot and took the proper lift up to the 2nd floor - the grand salon ..

the place is so crammed and stuffy .. i feel like i'm cooped up in some jail/cage man .. didn't really like the place at all .. clarified the date with her and found that we had some miscommunications .. so she manage to find another 2 more venues for us .. salon by the pool and the pool pavillion .. both were much better than the grand salon .. but overall we preferred the pool pavillion although it was outdoors .. because it had a bigger area BUT again .. there are some limitations .. the salon by the pool was just too narrow so if we really use it .. then we will have to split the people into 2 different areas which was not feasible for games ..

we thanked her for showing us arnd and left after that .. headed to suntec macs to sit and discuss .. dearest came by to join us .. discussed till 6+ then supposedly wanted to watch what happened in vegas with dearest, 715 at marina .. but long queue and the tix were selling fast ..

decided to go back instead but mum was at bkt timah seeing doc alone .. thought that we cld go down to accompany her so took bus opp funan and was waiting for 961 .. but in the end mum said that not necessary .. just go home straight .. so we walked to clarke quay and took train back .. had dinner with dearest and alethea at 8 .. watched over my dead body with dearest till 11+ then he went back ..

now it's 1155 .. i'm gonna to play my sudoku for awhile before going to bed .. and tmr i'll be going to the saloon =D .. rebond my hair again! yays say byebye to my frizzy hair!!!

i forgot to add .. i've received my first REJECTION letter from NTU .. ):
until now no news from the other 2 too .. sighs ..
think no hope alr .. i shld start planning another alternative since i refuse to extend my contract.
hope God will guide me to do this planning ..
