a moment to remember ..
we've reached the peak of the most crucial semester of our 3 years in NP!
it only took 30-40minutes and it was over (:
the beginning wasn't smooth sailing at all ..
it started off with sleeping at 3.30 after i finalised the flash & video .. and supposely waking up at 4.30 to continue whatever i was doing .. but was so tired i kept snoozing till arnd 5.10 before i jumped out and started to panic and get ready .. showered, packed and left house by 6.15 .. was editting the powerpoint slide in the bus before falling asleep for awhile after i was done.
my left heel broke while i was walking across the bridge =X .. i reached school at 30 mins later instead of the time which i said i would be there .. was like sending the most updated files over to one another and publishing the website ..
in fact things almost took a turn and our hearts were like sinking in quicksand..
we were figuring out what went wrong .. suppose to go up to class at 8.30 to prepare but we went up at 8.45 and apparently the room wasn't open yet .. so took quite some time to settle down after ms kaw open the room for us ..
time flew past us and teachers were coming in one by one .. setting up their laptops preparing to listen to our presentation .. BUT we had problems projecting the screen from my laptop although everything had been set up properly .. so had no choice but to dump everything onto jackson's laptop which was suppose to be a "dummy" for referencing ..
during this whole time .. with the teachers waiting for us to start when we are ready and not forgetting the assumption that they had which was for us to be prepared by the time they came in ... the intensity and anxiety level of my group rose sky high .. it was really a nerve-racking time for us.
started timing from 9.15 onwards .. the video was good .. outsourcing went well .. demo-ing of website was fine too .. however met problems with the connection of the pda so had to impromptu and just skipped ahead to my part .. and with such good chemistry with emy .. we managed to present a live demo hands-on for nav (location transfer/blanket sales/sales order/history invoices & shipments) .. and went back to the pda after i was done ..
overall it was quite good i must say .. although we had minor hiccups .. but we still manage to think of something to blend, accomodate and cover them up .. (:
feedback and q&a were the time when we begun to lighten up more .. and especially after the good comment about our video (: .. while presenting we noticed that the looks on the teachers faces were unforgettable especially when the bored teacher(s) starts smiling and we'll be psycho-ing ourselves that we're on the right track and they might be impressed with us .. anyway the questions posted to us were not that difficult to answer and it just requires quick thinking and replies on the content of the question.
we left the room "burden-free" =D
