openhouse 2007 !! (:

this entry has been on save mode for the past few days .. really no mood to update or do anything .. and since i'm free now .. i'm gonna continue updating ..

after all the irregular eating time .. crazy sleeping times ..
this is gonna be purely on the pre-openhouse and the 3 days of the openhouse ..

17th jan : wednesday ..

pre-openhouse !!

went for makeup cma tutorial with tto5 .. after that was at the umbrellas in front of co-op with weixiong & gang .. then waited for the guys to be done with the tutorial before meeting eunice and we had lunch together .. was at the bit room the whole day .. setting up everything .. doing ids .. decorating the place .. went to buy mouse with yuguang, shawn & mrs wong @ beauty world .. yuguang was like some aunty asking for discount la .. haha .. mrs wong was impressed !! ..

had a briefing with the yr 1s at 5 .. and after they left .. we continued to decorate the place till 9plus when everything was almost done .. mrs wong gave us a lift to the bus stop again and we took 157 to macritchie and change bus from there .. got home at 10 ..

18th jan : thursday ..

day ONE.

met those on 1st shift duty at 10 .. then we were having breakfast at the canteen .. manage to finish the video by 12 and i brought ian over to draw his blazer .. was at the cca fiesta kachaoing candice, jingyi and emy for awhile before going back to the room .. then slacked arnd the room clearing the place .. too many people in the room .. we tried to do rotation duties for afternoon shift .. so had 15-30 mins break before changing ..

mrs wong's camera went flat .. so had to use mine .. then after everything .. we cleared up the place and transfered/saved whatever we needed .. ms teo told us that we could kop coconut jelly (: .. and we got a box! the yr 2s playing with it la .. went for dinner with junhan, weixiong, bindi & yinghan @ bukit timah food centre at 8 .. starving badly !! .. then went to order food with the rest leaving junhan there cuz he ate at macs before meeting us ..

we wanted to order and hang arnd till junhan pays for the food and then go back to eat .. but ahhs .. when we went back .. there was a plate of oyster omelette there .. junhan asked if anyone ordered and we were shocked cuz none of us ordered it .. but he said that the aunty said someone wearing white ordered it .. hahaha ..

apparently she delivered to the wrong table and junhan blurly paid for it .. hahaha .. had a good time there laughing away .. at 9plus alvin came and joined us .. he just ate kfc with his friend .. haha .. we talked and laughed till 11 .. what a good way of destressing .. then cabbed back with junhan .. dropped him off first before going back ..

washed up and dried my hair with hairdryer before plopping on my bed to enter dreamland ..

19th jan : friday ..

day TWO.

went for hrm lect with emy .. after that walked to canteen 1 with her cuz i was starving and wanted to get pancake .. she went for cma tutorial while i went to bit room .. everyone was getting ready and the first to step in was melvin! shocking i must say .. cuz i was making id for hsien tze (his card went missing the first time and i spelt his name wrongly for the second) .. then didnt really recognise him walking in .. eunice also .. haha .. she went to talk to him with her voiceless "sexy" voice ..

anyway after that cleared up the place and was slacking away .. emy came to look for me to go lunch before she go for archery .. but ahh .. i had to accompany eunice cuz yani & yp went for lunch first .. walked with emy to convention .. then met lance there .. was talking to him for awhile before going back to look for eunice .. after yani & yp came back .. went with her to the resting area where weixiong, kerlina, perlyn and tiffany were there ..

had a sandwich & coconut jelly while eunice & weixiong ate cup noodles .. that girl accidentally blurted out that she ate tomyam the day before !! that's why she got her "sexy" voice .. then she went to kop fried fishballs !! terrible girl .. >.< .. that day she ate malt candy & cotton candy !! .. all those sweet stuff made her throat worst .. *shakes head* .. went to get coconut jelly for 2 lecturers one of which was mrs koh (pmkt tutor) ..

after lunch was walking arnd again .. then went to look for cand, emy & jingyi .. heehee .. cand helped me get a rose from the singtel girl (: .. haha .. went to meet my juniors with jerhui .. sherm, eileen, wanzhen, debbie & jiawen .. ohoh i met adelene that morning too ! (: .. we took a grp shot at the bit room .. muahaha .. really miss them loads !! ..

at the end of the day .. cleared up the place again .. it was really messy !! >.< .. headed to bukit timah market again with weixiong, yinghan, bindi, yuguang, shawn and jackson .. crapped alot again .. but everyone was so tired .. that's why didnt' really laugh as much as the day before .. went back at 9plus .. so so so tired .. had to use the hair dryer to dry my hair again so i can sleep early .. manage to sleep earlier than usual ..

20th jan : saturday ..

day THREE.

happy nineteenth birthday sinyee !!

i got up at 8plus .. my parents were surprise to see me up so early .. then suppose to have breakfast with them la .. but my sis dilly dally .. so in the end my dad da bao noodles for us .. then at 9plus close to 10 i left house .. then shawn messaged to ask me to buy food for him cuz he got gastric .. he had to bring the camera battery to school earlier cuz he brought it home to charge ..

i was on the bus already .. but alighted to go to the coffeeshop and bought 2 packets of chicken rice before going to school .. managed to take a nap on the way .. when i reached it was like 11.30 .. went to the bit room and rested for quite awhile there .. jackson was sleeping on 4 chairs cuz he had some campus run in the morning .. me & weixiong decided to go visit jingyi (: .. kopped 2 towels from her .. whaha .. she gave us the clipper too .. haha ..

slacked till 2plus .. then went to prepare cake for sinyee as surprise .. thank goodness for yvonne, louisa, felicia & her other classmates who tried to keep her in the room before we were done lighting up the candles .. the ba comm. pple wanted to sing her a bday song but the song queue was like quite long .. so decided to just surprise her in the room .. carried the cake with lighted candles to the room and everyone sang her bday song (: ..

i'm glad she's happy .. ahha .. stay cool girl !! .. after that brought the cake out and she cut it .. was tesaing her "sell cake girl dunno how to cut cake" .. haha .. then made her feed everyone cake before she could go (: .. gave a slice to mrs ng & ms teo too .. then took pics !! .. so fun (: ..

the whole evening was like a photo taking session for us la .. i'm glad everyone enjoyed themselves .. had abit of a trouble though .. cuz the mid-afternoon shift pple were kinda quiet .. then dun really know how to interact with guests .. plus the room was rather packed .. so i had to send some of them back earlier .. and i know they were not happy .. oh wells .. i cant do much then cuz the whole place was like some pasar malam .. =X ..

after that slowly packed up .. then at the end of the day .. everything was taken down .. brought stuff up to the staff room .. then went for dinner with a BIG grp of pple .. yuguang, eunice, yunpei, ian, bryan, weixiong, jackson, shawn, junhan + max from bs & cipto(i dunno how to spell his name) from lsct .. we had such a great time .. they brought the "welcome to NP" signboard up the bridge .. went for dinner at sumo house .. sat with shawn, junhan & yuguang .. we ordered alot of food to share!! then jackson was complaining he was hungry .. so all of us "donated" our oranges and whatever edible "leftovers" .. he ate like 16 slices of oranges in all =X ..

after that we all went different ways .. some to mrt, some to bus stops .. luckily i got company (: .. together with eunice, jackson, ian, bryan & junhan .. we took 165 !! .. haha .. ian alighted at adam road .. then junhan at macritchie .. eunice at her house bus stop .. had to wake jackson up cuz he was so tired he dozed off not knowing that his stop was reaching .. bryan accompanied me till the bus stop opp. serangoon north ave 1 .. then i took bus all the way back ..

washed up and rested !! .. (:

my reflections.

personally, i felt that this openhouse was kind of mind boggling with stress piling up at first when we started planning .. especially when time flew like no one's business and all of us begin to panic .. staying back to complete whatever we were suppose to do .. it was the 2nd time i ever stayed in school so late too .. (the first was making idare ids) ..

however at the end of the day .. i realised all the hard work paid off (: .. the deco & ids had been totally fabulous and i heard many good comments from passerbys which definately lighten all the tensed/stress mood .. all of us were so afraid that we were not "up-to-standard" as compared to the other courses in BA .. but still .. i think we did a great job and the BIT room had been the BEST !!! *grinss*

i really hope everyone had a great time during the openhouse just like me (from preparation to the actual days) .. OHOH. not forgetting the part about making more new friends within the course regardless of years too !! ..

may the friendship forged during the days of the openhouse last a lifetime !!! (:
