dec week 5

last week of 2oo6 ..

25th dec .. monday

merry christmas!!
slept late but got up bright and early to go to grandma's place and take the chartered bus down to the mandai crematorium to collect my grandma's ashes at 8 .. then made our way down to the cck cemetary to place her urn together with my late grandfather's .. i passed by emy's sec sch and was msging her to come down and meet me .. and she told me that she was on her way back from msia ..

we all went to my late grandma's house and was clearing her stuff .. i stoned and unknowingly fell asleep on the sofa for quite sometime .. then had lunch and my family went to taka to shop .. got calls from pple who pangseh-ed us .. anyway i left them at arnd 4.50 and headed to dhoby where peilin, yishi & rachel were already there .. we went to secret receipe for dinner .. ordered drinks while waiting for sinyee to come .. then ordered our food .. had the same food as peilin & rachel -- "catch of the day with lobster sauce" .. it was ok i guess .. didnt really had the appetite to eat but manage to finish eating my food .. exchanged gifts there .. then jere came .. he was like a scary stalker ..

started camwhoring with yishi .. then we saw santa on our way down .. went to take a pic with him !! .. haha .. jere helped us .. then outside ps there were 5 christmas trees .. 1 big RED, 4 small BLUE, PINK, GREEN, YELLOW trees .. then we took pics with the 4 small trees cuz the red one too big already .. haha .. made our way to cathay and were camwhoring with the pink christmas tree .. went up to the cinema box office @ lvl 5 where there were sofa/seats and camwhored there too ..

we went to get free cotton candy and took pics with it while eating .. made a mess cuz the cotton candy kept flaking .. haha .. jere went to takeaway a slice of cheesecake from billy bombers then we went to tcc beside ps .. ordered and shared 3 ti-rum-misus .. yummy !! .. then camwhored abit there too .. jere was illegally eating his cheesecake and the person had to tell him no outside food and drinks allowed ... haha .. all of us were so thirsty we kept asking for ice water to be refilled .. esp yishi !! .. haha .. she was like some water bucket .. ahaha .. x)

we headed back after that .. was talking to peilin the whole journey back .. it was a fun day (: .. i couldn't sleep at night as was freaking out .. but luckily i manage to sleep at 3plus ..

26th dec .. tuesday

another early morning .. but not as early as the previous day .. we had to be at the temple by 10 .. so at 9.20 we cabbed down and met the rest of my relatives there .. the whole thing was like less than an hr .. but as it was raining heavily .. we were just sitting arnd and chatting .. then at 11 .. i had 2 sisters (amanda & alethea), 6 cousins (olivia, huankai, denise, huijie, amelia & benjamin) & 1 nephew (brian) in tow .. we were gonna watch the 11.20 night at the museum @ cine .. split into 2 cars and my uncles dropped us at novena before we took at train down to somerset and bought our tix & snacks .. it was messy i must say .. and tough cuz i was the eldest and had to control them ..

my elder cousin pangseh us cuz he went home and couldn't make it in time .. but he met us after the show .. we went to 9th floor and take neoprints .. squeezed into the machine .. ahaha .. after that daryl kor brought us to the arcade and we played table hockey .. it was fun i must say .. cousins against each other .. then at 4 we left the place .. took train down to toapayoh .. they were complaining that they were hungry !! .. so we stopped at macs for snack before going down to my late-grandma's place where all the adults were waiting/mahjong-ing/sewing .. then was using my cousin's com and crapping away with my other cousin & niece ..

headed home arnd 8 and bought popiah for dinner at the market there ..

27th dec .. wednesday

went to sch for proj meeting .. suppose to meet at 10.30 .. ah boon reached at 10.45 .. i reached arnd there too but waited for emy at the bus stop till 11.30 .. then we went to canteen .. met jingyi and christina (: .. the guys didn't want to come over to the canteen .. so we went over to the atrium instead .. but decided to go library cuz got aircon and we won't feed the mossies ..

the internet was DOWN. due to the quake in taiwan which affected the underground submarine cables .. we couldn't research much at all .. manage to do till page 5 and we gave up .. walked to the bus stop with emy and we met christinaa who was on her way to town .. so i went to town with her and met dora, lance & their friends from the clown musical for dinner .. they were at cathay crapping for awhile .. then we made our way to ps pastamania but there was no seats .. so continued walking down to heeren and had sakae sushi for dinner .. it was fun poking lance !! his reaction was very very BIG .. haha .. there were 2 actresses there too . they footed their bills behind me la .. i cant rmb who already ..

took our time to walk down to tangs cuz dora's dad was picking her up from marriot hotel and giving the other 2 girls a lift home .. i took train back with lance .. then rested ..

28th dec .. thursday

suppose to meet up for hrm proj .. however since redwan can't make it .. and ahboon's dad was hospitalized for heart attack .. we decided to cancel the meeting and do it at home .. so i fell back asleep till 10plus .. then emy asked if i could meet her to pass her my poa book for her bro .. then went to check newspaper for movie time .. found a 1pm show for the holiday and smsed dora if she wanna watch ..

got ready to meet her and we were late but she was earlier than me still .. haha .. met at 12.45 and had lunch at cine's pastamania after buying tix .. we were the first customers !! .. headed to the cinema and found our seats .. dora cried throughout the whole show cuz she could relate to the storyline .. it's kinda nice (: .. we went and walked arnd taka/orchard library/wisma while waiting for emy to appear .. then met michelle there cuz she was involved with some sch stuff .. took a pic with her ..

emy came not long later and i got to see the legendary hikmi ! .. my first impression of him was that he looked like a GIANT BEAR .. hahaha .. i smsed emy to tell her and she laughed .. she said that he saw the msg >.<" .. hahaha .. oh wells .. went to esplanade library and waited for dora to borrow her filming books for her thesis .. then had dinner at marina square food court before heading home ..

29th dec .. friday

happy 18th birthday vincent!!
for once .. i had a goood sleep and no one disturbed me (: .. got up close to 12 .. then just updated my blog till week 3 before getting hooked on my korean drama - wedding .. ended up watching the show till 5plus in the morning .. hahaha .. cried alot while watching the last few discs .. my dustbin was like 3/4 filled with tissue all used by me .. =X

30th dec .. saturday

another day i lazed arnd .. haha .. got up at 12 .. my parents just came back just as i finish washing up .. haha .. had brunch and was slacking away trying to blow my hair .. came back to blog in the evening and made afew picture collages + my new blog template for 2007 .. that was all that i do the whole day laa .. =X .. at night was conferencing with yishi, peilin & jere .. then decided to chat online instead .. cancelled the plan to meet up for countdown cuz no one was in the mood ..

i am very proud of dora for tying up her loose ends before the yr ends .. (:

31st dec .. sunday

today .. the last day of 2006 .. my dad woke me up the earliest laa .. then we went to church .. was slightly late .. praise & worship, communion, announcements, one-time offering & sermon by uncle kim san on grace & thanksgiving .. then went up to library .. was aunty tj's duty and we were there when she came in .. totally flipped la .. =X .. after that went up to mini creche .. was playing with cute josh who got stucked to me !! .. aunty sook fun said that i looked nice with the hairband .. *blushes* (:

took many many pics of the kids today cuz i intend to make a photo-video clip to show during one of the 2nd service chapel sessions to encourage parents to leave their kids with us .. it was fun i must say .. the kids had their break time and i was feeding josh .. then brought the kids who were going to be nursery down for a tour .. javier, euen, able, josiah, asher, fiona and ruey xin .. josiah cried when we left cuz he wanted to be with his sis .. it was terrible for me cuz i was trying to stop him from crying and he threw his tandrums .. =X ..

after that sang goodbye song and cleared up the place before going to the library .. aunty tj was still there .. eewss ... then she was like shaking hands with us wishing us happy new yr and stuff .. my mum was talking to jacob's mum (aunty christina) .. so funny la .. we went for lunch at some hongkong tea house and met aunty janet on the way .. she's nice (: ..

headed back with amanda after that .. then took a short 1 hr nap before getting ready to go out again .. met dora at 7plus at queenstown mrt stn .. then jacob came .. we made our way to her church where we attended the combined service .. the kids in front of me were cute .. playing scissors paper stone and making funny faces .. anywayy after that went to marina south steamboat with 13 other dora's church friends .. so total had 16 of us ..

in the train they were like asking if me & jacob was a couple cuz the pastor said got new comers that were a couple and they thought it was us .. =X .. so funny la .. was talking to lance abt projs on the way to the steamboat place .. then we had 4 stoves to ourselves .. shared with lance, jacob and another guy .. i think our soup was the best (: .. i didn't really cook cuz the guys were cooking and they piled food onto my plate after they were done .. aha .. i only added ingredients in the soup and scooped for them ..

got full quite fast and it was close to 12 .. jocelyn was like chasing the guys to quickly eat . .. ... ....

i shall stop here for now .. cuz whatever i'm gonna continue will be posted as new entry the new year .. (: ..
